Dance with Lumina’s glow to outwit nature’s sneaky shadows in this cozy 2D puzzle platformer! Built for the "Man vs. Nature" game jam, Lumina reimagines the theme as a battle against light itself—a primal force that both reveals and conceals the path to victory. Switch between light and dark modes to uncover hidden platforms, dodge lurking enemies, and push boxes to reach each level’s exit. With minimalist pixel art and soothing lo-fi tunes, this game invites you to solve clever puzzles at your own pace, racing against the clock for the fastest times.

NOTE: The WebGL version sometimes will get stuck on the loading screen or restarting a level. If that happens you'll need to reload the page (and lose progress). Sorry about that!

Features

  • Dynamic Light/Dark Mechanics: Toggle between light and dark to reveal or hide platforms, walls, and enemies, transforming the environment to solve puzzles.
  • Cozy Aesthetic: Clean pixel art and relaxing lo-fi music creates a warm, inviting vibe perfect for casual play.

I do like a good, sustainably harvest pixel pushing game 😆This was fun! It is a shame the WebGL issues kept popping up. I had to quit my attempts after running in to that too many times. I know as a game developer it can be super frustrating to make a game, only for it to go sideways because of a web build issue. In any case, cool game!

If you'd like to see my live reaction to playing the game, that can be found here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2583986759?t=00h25m46s

Yeah WebGL can be a real pain. Need to get better at optimizing for it. Will look at making a post-jam Windows/Mac/Linux build and fix the WebGL bugs. Thanks!
